Mike Steil follows Andy Loose with a PBA Regional Win

First it was Andy Loose winning a PBA Regional on May 31 by qualifying 2nd and beating PBA National Tour Champion Jeff Carter in the finals and now River Rand Summer Doubles league member Mike Steil wins a title beating PBA Champion David Traber to win the $2500.00 first place prize and becoming the latest PBA Midwest Regional Champion.

Qualifying 23rd, Mike had a long road to the championship bowling 14 games on Sunday. Here were the matches:

  • Beat Mark London 3-1
  • Beat PBA Legend Dales Eagle 3-2
  • Defeated Steve Rogers 2-1
  • Beat Sean Swanson 1-0
  • Tied David Traber 212-212 and beat him in a roll-off 10-7

  1. Awesome bowling Mike. Congrats on the victory, and I believe a welcome to Wed night bowling is in order. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I don't believe I have met Mike yet, Kev correct me on that as well. Hope to see all on Tuesday.

    I don't think you have met Mike, because you didn't bowl in the Tue. Doubles the last couple of years. I'm not sure if Mike is bowling on Wed. nights or not. I will ask him if he is on one of the new teams.
