How do you spell T-I-G-H-T?

Every summer at River Rand Bowl, at least for the last 10 years, the Tuesday Doubles league has been super, super close and this year is no exception. With 2 weeks to go, there is a tie for first and the 3rd place team is only 1 point out.

Russ and Kyle remained in first place but are now tied with Carter and Gary and Mike/Dennis/3rd Wheel Reinfart are only 1 point out. Mike and Mike edged into 4th and Louche Bag and Matt, who had 2 500's shot against them in game 1 and 2 are in 5th.

There is a 4 point spread from 5th to 6th, but the middle places are all up for grabs.

The scores Tuesday were the highest of the year. We had 9 900 series, (last week we had 3) and the entire league averaged 199.90! Thus the series point cut was 1811, the highest of the year also.

Gary Burian shot 1007 series with a 289, leaving a S O L I D 8 pin in the 11th frame. Ouch…of course it was against Lou and Matt…Kudos to Carter, Andy Decaluwe, Mike Ritti, Reinfart (971) Wally and Glenn 905 each, Mike Steil 915 and Russ Decaluwe 948.

Average wise, Gary Burian continues to lead and we now have 4 bowlers averaging over 220. 3 lefties and 1 righty. Top 10 averages…6 leftiescome on…!@#$!@#$!

By the way, I am not sure if everyone knows but Hugh Shorey, is 82 years old and averaging 187 how cool is that!!!

  1. What's cooler is that he's averaging higher than you by almost quarter pin. What's your excuse?

  2. I think the biggest difference between Hugh and Lou is that Hugh still gets some. He doesn't have spankitis like Lou.

  3. Would you at least, just once, do some investigative reporting. Not to long ago Dennis and his partner were in first by 10 points with 2 weeks to go and up 8 on the final night, that's not super super close you big douche-bag. They had to be swept and the other team had to sweep for a tie on the final night. Not super super close dickhead.

  5. Well, at least you know that I'm not in the league, congratulations on getting that correct, and it is very seldom you know what any of us are talking about.
