Tuesday Wrap-up – The lead changes again

Tuesday 7.8.08 Wrap-Up

Gene and Bill back in first

Week 7 of the Summer Doubles League is in the books and Gene and Bill are back in first place. Jeff Meyer and Andy's dad, climbed into a tie for second with Mike and Mike, the Koljackoff's are in 4th 4 points behind and Sarah/Andy and Kenny and Justine are tied for 5th.

Scores Tuesday were the lowest of the year with the league averaging 185. It was hot and humid inside as Craig said the air conditioner was being serviced. I guess we need to buy more drinks in order to have it cool inside.

The race for top average is getting really interesting with Andy Loose leading Paul Bober 223 to 221 as most of the league continues to struggle with the new lanes. 40 of the 52 bowlers are under their entering average…that is staggering…

  1. Nice comment Dee...

    Now, more constructively... :-)

They were flat out TOUGH last night, it's interesting to me that, usually, when it's hot and especially when the humidity is higher, that the lanes break down quicker...I didn't see that last night (then again, it's not exactly like I shot lights out or anything...lol)

Should be interesting to see what happens next week, will the middle of the house be really tough again? Will 23 and 24 stay high scoring? Will Lou and Dee be able to NOT talk for 5 games? ;-)

  2. Should we impose a "QUIET RULE" next week. No singing unless you actually can!

  3. Somebody suggested that I bring an extra T-shirt. Hopefully the A/C will be working better. My partner was ready to pass out by the end of the evening. Maybe I should bring a 5 gallon tub of gatorade.
